Tierhaus Halloween special @ Summerhall, Newington, feat. Sosha, Nikol, Chemical Affair

After a run of summer parties at Leith Arches, Tierhaus returns to Summerhall for a Halloween special, in Newington’s only venue open past 1am. Inspired by 90s electronic music culture, Tierhaus aims to bring the communal spirit of 90s rave and dance music culture into 2026. Expect tunes to keep you dancing until the small hours, in Summerhall's epic Dissection Room. Costume encouraged. Shosha is an Argentine DJ based in Edinburgh, with roots in Buenos Aires’ underground electronic scene stretching back to the ’90s. Starting out playing vinyl at house parties, she later became part of the team behind Club Fellini, one of Buenos Aires’ early after-hours spaces and a meeting point for the city’s emerging electronic community. Her selections move freely through house, techno, acid, tribal rhythms, breaks and the harder edges of her musical past, with vinyl remaining central to her approach. The mysterious Nikol, a cornerstone of daily life at Summerhall and incognito local legend, appears for one night only to get everyone in the Halloween spirit. A true connoisseur of the 90s scene, they’re guaranteed to fill the dancefloor with their tunes ranging from house to breaks and classic floor-filling bangers. Having recently made his debut at Sneaky Pete's, Chemical Affair leans into the darker side of dance music. Having played in Edinburgh, London and Berlin, he is versed in mixing a hybrid of house and techno to create deep, dubby, psychedelic journeys to get everyone warmed up. Tierhaus is a safe space.
