Behind the musical side of Wave Arising, you will find pioneer 69db who has been improvising with the electronic live set since 1991 with Spiral Tribe, SP23, R-Zac & Dharma Techno. Pathfinder and self-taught, he is one of the founders of the Hard Techno / Tribe Techno style. As cross-over artist and lover of Afro music in all of its forms he has also worked with Jazz musicians, Anglo-Jamaican vocalist Tablloyd and Madagascan MCs while producing tracks for many record labels including, Big Life/ Butterfly records, Force Inc, Labworks, Trax records Chicago, Network 23 & Expressillon. Today within Wave Arising, a valuable opportunity presents itself to him to skillfully combine sounds ranging from the soundscape, tribal tones & ambient to experimental dub techno. During live performances , workshops & gatherings , Wave Arising create a safe place where personal process comes to mingle with the collective journey ! With sets known to evolve in both tempo and style whilst retaining a psychedelic foundation, 69db goes intuitively with the collective audience to then invite it to introspection that is both evolutionary and transcendent.
