Sholeh Asgary

Sholeh Asgary is an interdisciplinary artist and performer who considers sound as embodied material agency in a fugitive condition. Her performances bring voice, objects, field recordings, synthesizers, feedback, and prepared instruments into unstable sonic relationships informed by Iranian vocal traditions. Asgary’s debut album, آبـان (Aban), was released in 2024 by Sming Sming Books and Crystalline Morphologies, with archival vinyl forthcoming in 2027. Her performances have been presented by Stanford University, The Lab, PICA and the San Francisco Electronic Music Festival.
