FLOAT was created by Sofia Ilyas known for her work at Erased Tapes where she gained a reputation for her managing of PR for the artists and label. In 2015 she created FLOAT PR that has since worked on album campaigns for labels such as Domini and R&S. FLOAT PR also consults for headphone client nura a revolutionary technology that automatically learns and adapts to your unique hearing. As well as consulting for Carhartt WIP, Late Night Tales (Sasha at the Barbican) and the new Recorder Magazine. FLOAT the label was created with the desire to lend knowledge and skills to artists from the very beginning of a record making process. Creative direction for the label is by Francis Redman.
