Mario Rashev, aka SHADE. is a Bulgarian DJ born in Vratsa in 1989. From a young age, he was influenced by the hard and heavy sound of hard rock and neo metal. He attended music school where he studied solfeggio, played double bass and the piano, and played various stages as part of an orchestra. In 2009, captivated by the electronic wave, Shade. and his brother began playing in various clubs in his hometown. This resulted in five unforgettable years and countless nights, filled with soulful, dub and minimal techno until the morning. In 2014, Shade. was spotted RoboLoco’s team and invited to play at The Loft for the first time. From that moment, he officially became part of the RoboLoco. Today Shade. is one of the artists of Metropolis Booking and has played the same stage with artists like DJ Rush, DVS1, Nur Jaber, Jay Clarke, Jeroen Search, Julian Jeweil, Answer Code Request, Alex.Do, Traumer @Etapp Kyle. Shade. defines his style as experimental, ambient, minimal and deep techno sound. 2023 Shade's techno style got event more deaper, harder and hypnotic with fat and unmistakable bass . Mario is great at long extended music journeys.. not tested yet exactly for how long he can play ..but last time Shade signed 4 hours opening set at Metropolis stage.
