Rhadewa

Drawing from the rich musical tapestry of Indonesia and inspired by the soulful depths of house music's most revered selectors, this Jakarta-based DJ has been crafting immersive sonic journeys since 2018. Shaped by the spiritual selections of Theo Parrish, the hypnotic grooves of Traumer, and the timeless wisdom of Larry Heard, their sets weave together house, jazz, disco, and soul into a seamless narrative. Much like their influences Antal and DJ Masda, they possess an innate understanding of dancefloor dynamics, particularly excelling in the nuanced art of opening sets and the delicate intimacy of after-hours moments. Their selections pay homage to the roots of dance music while maintaining a contemporary edge, drawing parallels to the warm, oceanic sounds of Chaos in the CBD. With a record bag that spans continents and decades, they've developed a signature style that honors their Indonesian heritage while speaking the universal language of groove. Whether warming up the room with jazz-tinged house or guiding dancers through soul-stirring afterhours selections, each set tells a story of musical devotion and dancefloor communion. Known for their patient, building approach and deep musical knowledge, they create spaces where genres dissolve and only the rhythm remains. Like their inspirations, they understand that true dance music is about more than just mixing tracks – it's about creating moments of collective joy and personal discovery on the dancefloor.
