Born in Colombia, based in Italy. Discovered a strong link with sound through the electronic music scene of the main cities of his country. Arrived to Europe driven by a strong desire of discovering new cultures and their own relationship with sound and music, as well as a profound academic curiosity regarding the conception of technologic and scientific developments that allow artists to express themselves in innovative and creative ways via new hardware and software for music creation, together with the sound systems used for high fidelity delivery to the audience. Unwilling to fit within the genre boundaries, the only constant aspect about Memo’s dj sets is change, each session aims to build unexpected connections between rhythms and melodies from different origins and exploring the primal sensations risen by the interaction of music with the human senses and cognition, which gives place to a unique experience every time.
