Energy Runner

Energy Runner (aka Zach Hosale) proudly hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin but has lived in the DC area since 2016. Hosale's early music experience came as a guitar player in a handful of bands as well as being a pedal nerd since the 00s.   He first dipped his toes in the murky waters of eurorack in the summer of 2018 and has since found himself plunged deep into the Mariana Trench that is modular as well as being one of the lead organizers for DC Modular Society. Between years of record collecting and well his field recorder out and about with him, Hosale continues to amass an eclectic and personal sample library which he enjoys incorporating into his performances. Energy Runner is a solo project allowing Hosale to combine and explore these various musical backgrounds and interests as well as the never ending quest of finding new and interesting sounds.
