He pushes the boundaries of sound fusing frequencies from the East & the West & Classical & Contemporary worlds. He feels music deeply & mixes sounds intuitively & experimentally, with sound his medium for expression, connection & encouraging cross cultural collaboration. His Avant-garde, rule breaking style can range from ambient sound healing fusing his own sound healing instruments, to layering audio from talks, podcasts, social media, interviews & field recordings, to mixing the sets of Dj sets. In the last year, he developed his own form of custom audio reactive visuals which takes the typical flat wave form & gives it dimensionality & colour scapes that relate to the energy of the sound. Born & raised in Sydney, he has lived & worked internationally in London, Chicago, Toronto, Dresden, Berlin, Brisbane & Melbourne giving him a truly cosmopolitan, dynamic & one of a kind sound. Originally an accountant & consultant for companies like Deloitte, IBM & Staples USA he moved into Operations & Logistics, solving problems for high growth tech companies like Foodora (Rocket Internet), Uber Canada & Omaze London. He has also worked on over 200 experiential marketing events & launches during his time as an event manager & brand ambassador for companies like BMW, Nokia, Samsung, Blackberry & Yellow Tail Wine. In London, he produced a philosophical rave Ectstatic Playground designed to connect people to each other & act as a reminder of their primal connection. It was featured on the cover of National Geographic UK. He is now focused solely on his passion for music, writing & philosophy, writing for esteemed Berlin/Paris based label Terenor Records which is managed by his friend & mentor Basile Monsacré aka Egregore. Most recently, he coproduced his first single ‘My Love’. An innovative 2 part track which samples three iconic 90’s tracks that inspired him growing. The track begins with a philosophical audio recording before moving into an anthem for self belief & empowerment. It then takes an unexpected underground twist, with his live vocals, Kookaburra recordings & friends live electric guitar coalescing in the most interesting way. He also recently closed the 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art's 30th Anniversary Fundraiser with a special cultural set & developed the esteemed gallery's 3 signature, Asian inspired cocktails for the momentous occasion. He is on a mission to bring the soul back to modern music, to embrace the sounds & perspectives from a variety of cultures & to make the world a little more interconnected through shaping moments, memories & experiences that move people & realise their interconnection. Artistic approach. 'I live & breathe music. I can read the energy of music & feel the mood, emotion & colour palette of sounds. To delve deep in to sounds I will research their context, their meaning & really feel the frequency of it. I’m naturally quite philosophical & believe that music is the universal language. It is not only a tool, a soundtrack, a hobby but an expression of culture, personal expression & philosophy. Having such a varied, deep & diverse life experience has given me an instinctive understanding of how to create the right mood for the moment. Preparation is key & I’ll have a preselection of tracks suitable for various stages within a set but also the ability to dynamically pick, mix, loop & layer in the moment creating originality, memorability & depth.
