DJ 34 is a trance/techno DJ & event promoter in the greater Tokyo, Japan area. He's also the founder and member of SKULLDUGGERY JAPAN that focuses on forward thinking, underground, next generation TECH styles of electronic music from techno to techtrance, and psytrance. He holds residencies at some of the well known clubs in Tokyo - from the likes of ZEROTOKYO, WOMB, WARP, R-Lounge, OR Tokyo, and others. He's a resident trance DJ with Trance Essentials (WOMB) and R-Trance (R-Lounge). Highly influenced by some of the global electronic music scenes top notch trance/techno producers and DJ’s by the likes of Simon Patterson, John Askew, Greg Downey, Will Atkinson, Zach Zlov, Alex Di Stefano, Mark Sherry, Sean Tyas, Lostly, Astrix, Alpha Portal, Mindbenderz, Volcano on Mars, Faders, Liquid Soul, Charlotte de Witte, Enrico Sangiulianno, Webhha, Cosmic Boys, Space 92 to name a few. His sets are always diverse and takes you on a journey crossing over the various boundaries of electronic music - techno/hardtechno, techtrance/trance, and psytrance. As a promoter, he has hosted BIG trance parties in Tokyo/Osaka with "OPEN UP TOKYO" that featured Simon Patterson and Greg Downey back in 2019 at the iconic WOMB in Tokyo, Shibuya. He has then teamed up with SKULLDUGGERY's label boss Greg Downey to build a new electronic experience in Japan fused with TECH x PSY sounds and later went on to host "GREG DOWNEY extended set" in 2022 at Tokyo Shibuya's R-LOUNGE which also featured Spectra Sonics from Shamanic Tales. His most recent organized event has scaled up where he's hosted SIMON PATTERSON & JOHN ASKEW at ZEROTOKYO in 2024 featuring a wide range of local Tokyo support DJ's. Outside of DJ'ing DJ 34 has been heavily engaged in Tokyo's club scene and has been supporting Tokyo's newest club ZEROTOKYO with their BIG international artist booking and BIG shows with recent bookings by the likes of Ben Nicky, KSHMR, Oliver Heldens, Vini Vici, Dubvision, and Da Tweekaz.
