The Garden is located in the historical Strathcona neighbourhood; the space built upon the unceded and traditional territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. The idea and concept for The Garden are rooted in connection through shared values. Connection to the community, partners, and to the present moment. The main floor has ample open floor space, warm string lights, an accessible private bathroom, table and seating areas and many plants The studio is a private and serene space with floor to ceiling windows, numerous plants and industrial building features.
