Hear + There x Locator: Mungo Sound Machine

Traveling party Hear + There links up with SF's own Locator Records for a night built on dubbed-out minimal house, rolling acid, and groove. We're excited to host Mungo Sound Machine for their SF club debut. Lu & Wy spent a decade cutting their teeth as solo acts before joining forces to pay homage to their West Coast predecessors through a global lens. An early co-sign from Gene on Earth's Limousine Dream imprint took them from the LA underground to the world stage: their Nuts & Volts debut Short Circuit became the label's best-selling release ever, followed by an instant vinyl sellout with Vamos A La Beach. Backed by support from Dr. Banana, Enzo Siragusa and more, MSM bring a sound as positioned for timelessness as it is for a bit of a laugh in the booth. Joining them in the Club Room, we've got SF's very own natebytheway, whose genre-blurring productions have landed him on Styles for Miles, Kulture Galerie, Dias de Campo, and was featured on LOC005 for Locator. His unique vocal blends and dialed edits have kept his IDs a constant in Dr. Banana's bag (and ours). It seems like every other week we see Nate’s tracks lighting up the biggest underground stages around the world. Holding down the Acid Closet: Acid Boner, coming all the way from Dundee, Scotland, bringing raw, all-vinyl sets. Keep an eye out for his upcoming LOC006 release on Locator's own imprint. Rounding out the night, H+T and Locator residents warm up the Club Room and Acid Closet respectively. Two rooms spinning wax and megabits till close. Come early, stay late.
