On one hand, this phenomenon has created new cultural intersections between tea culture and a techno scene that has historically been Western-centric. On the other, it brings techno music into daytime settings, creating an accessible entry point for broader audiences. It also reclaims daytime public space for the queer and subcultural communities that have long been central to the underground scene, making visible forms of identity and self-expression that are often associated with nightlife and after-hours venues. Attendees of the event are welcome to bring books, sketchpads, and laptops to enjoy the sofa lounge throughout the day. Conceived as a Sunday daytime gathering, the event offers a high-energy third space dedicated to focused work, reading, and creative thinking.
