These spaces are designed to give a voice to marginalized cultures and celebrate inclusion and diversity as core values. We welcome every identity without imposing any restrictions, standing firmly against any form of discrimination. We promote a culture of awareness and prevention, committed to creating a safe and respectful environment where artistic creativity and collective well-being can grow together. Since 2004 – Basstation has been a key driver of the techno movement in Sardinia, an island known for its deep traditions and history but increasingly open to new subcultures, especially in the clubbing scene. In this vibrant environment, new generations have enthusiastically embraced fresh musical experiences, building a dynamic and enduring community that, for the past two decades, has brought together clubbers, DJs, and producers, all united by a shared passion for the music. With a clear vision of clubbing and techno, Basstation has consistently given the local community chances to explore and share different forms of expression, socialization, and culture. Over time, it has hosted over a hundred established and emerging artists. Its resident artists have connected with international figures, boosting local talent and keeping the music scene alive in Sardinia and beyond. Current residents regularly perform worldwide.  Through socio-cultural projects and the promotion of club culture, Basstation has consistently provided opportunities to explore new artistic directions and innovative approaches. In addition to engaging with other cultural scenes, Basstation has preserved a free and inclusive environment, promoting equity, respect, and awareness. This commitment has fostered both the artistic and personal growth of the island’s community.
