Elisa first went into DJing in 2007, while she was still living in her native Sardinia; after moving to Milan in 2009, it wasn’t long before she started making her mark. She started releasing her own music in 2012, exploring and experimenting many styles and genres and collaborating with many different artists. It’s in 2017 that Elisa’s profile grabbed the attention of UK artist DJ Haus, who signed her “Mind Game” mini LP for his own imprint “Unknown To The Unknown”. The EP got widely welcomed by the international press and artists scene, with (to name a few) Lefto, Len Faki, Benji B and Roman Flügel showing their love for “Mind Game”, “Pulsar” and “Awaken”. Lots of tracks and remixes came out in 2018 and 2019, when Elisa landed on Kneaded Pains (Dense & Pika’s label) with her “See You There” four tracks EP. 2020 is the year of Elisa’s debut on Posthuman’s label Balkan Vinyl (UK): with her “Orbit” EP she reveals once again a multi-genre attitude, exploring Techno, Acid and 90’s UK Rave sounds. A big love for Acid music is also pervading her remixes for WTCHCRFT on I Love Acid and Ewan McVicar on UTTU (2021). In 2021 Elisa also produced an EP for STEP Recordings and a track for Ben Sims’ Symbolism label featured inside “Synchronicity” Compilation. 2022 started with Ben Sims releasing her "Send Me A Vision" EP on his Hardgroove imprint and Truncate releasing her "Enigma" EP. Dance System launched the System Summer Series on his label System Records, a kind of slow-motion V/A project of singles that dropped each and every week until the 1st of September. “Dense Metaverse” by Elisa Bee has been released in the middle of summer, receiving big support on BBC Radio1 and from many DJs worldwide. Another very important V/A project involved Elisa in early September: legendary BBE Music released “The Beauty is Inside”, an amazing compilation curated by Lefto Early Bird and including Elisa's track “A Sun That Never Goes Down”. Elisa's first vinyl EP is ready, it features a remix by Neville Watson and it will be released on November 2nd 2022 on Balkan Vinyl: 303 hand numbered copies on transparent blue vinyl. Aside from her studio and gigs duties, Elisa worked as radio producer on the Italian National Radio RAI for nine years and since 2017 she hosts a monthly residency on the independent web radio Radio Raheem in Milan. Record collector of every genre, from jazz to reggae through hip-hop, rock and obviously house and techno, Elisa is fascinated by the sounds of the past as she is by the experimental and quirky waves shaping the future music. It’s very difficult then to find a label perfectly matching her description as she moves freely in the flux of unpredictable creativity and constant wide spreading interests. For sure she’ll keep on rocking dance floors around the world, releasing new records and generally spreading good vibes wherever she is.
