Ümit Han is a Cologne-based electronic music artist, composer, performer, experimentalist and sound engineer. Since 2006 he has been releasing music on many different labels. In recent years, he released several of his experimental and ambient works on Traum Schallplatten,Trapez, Telrae and also on the New York label Component Records. He did the sound design and music for different projects of the German Ministry of Labor and 2022 for the opening film for the 25th International Metropolis Conference in Berlin. Since 2017, Ümit Han has been produce #lsb_TV Cologne, an audiovisual, experimental live performance TV show that airs every 2 weeks on German television. Another project he is working on is subfrequency music for the deaf to be exhibited throughout Europe. In November 2022 his debut "Sieg Über Das Ungute" was released on Kompakt Records, which can be found on the "Pop Ambient 2023" compilation and is compiled by Wolfgang Voigt. Ümit Han has been performing on stage for 20 years, including performances at the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf, concerts and exhibitions and live improvisations. He worked with many artists such as Moogulator, Mijk van Dijk, Akmusique, Cologne guitarist Dominik von Senger and Berlin school veteran Harald Grosskopf.
