UK-born TIJN owns vinyl labels In Haus Wax, Deep Edition Recordings & self-titled, TIJN, plus various unnamed projects. He has been making house records since 2007 as Martijn, but more recently has adopted the name TIJN after taking on a more direct analog approach in his purporse built studio. An accomplished producer as well as DJ, TIJN has played alongside renowned selectors such as Steffi, Sossa, and Dyed Soundorom, each time playing his own particular take on house and techno. TIJN is continually touring Europe & UK, playing in numerous venues in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam and Barcelona, along with regular spots in Manchester Liverpool, Leeds and Glasgow, as well as a residency at Leftback Records based in Nottingham. TIJN has just returned from his first tour of the US, hitting New York City, Texas, San Diego, and Utah where he received an excellent reception. Forthcoming, TIJN has releases lined up for Archie Hamilton’s Moss Co. Records, including super remix by house legend, Silverling, and a Curtea Veche EP with a Viceversa Remix.
