With over a decade behind the decks, SYDNI LUV has built an international career bridging African music, global club culture, and high-level cultural spaces. Her approach is deeply selector-driven—focused on tempo, transitions, and emotional arc — shaped by early training in Hip-Hop and refined through years of global touring. In 2011, she trained under legendary DJ Scratch as an intern and assistant on ScratchVision, where she developed technical discipline and musical range. These foundations continue to inform her precision and control across club, festival, and brand-driven environments. Her performance history includes touring with Tiwa Savage on the Water & Garri North American tour, opening for artists such as Uncle Waffles, Little Simz, Ari Lennox, Bree Runway, Aminé, and DJing Burna Boy’s African Giant afterparty. She has appeared at major cultural platforms including AfroPunk, AfroNation Puerto Rico, Chop Vegas, AfroFuture Festival (Ghana), the United Nations x Coachella Summit, and Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City. As a curator, SYDNI LUV is the founder of NAIRA, launched in 2019 as the first Afrobeats party in Lower Manhattan. What began as a nightlife series has evolved into a respected cultural platform spanning New York, London, Los Angeles, and Lagos, with over 10,000 attendees across dozens of events. NAIRA now operates as a space for African electronic and forward-facing club music, emphasizing inclusivity, sound quality, and intentional programming. Sydni Luv has held residencies at Public Records and SNS Bar in New York City, currently holds a residency at Damballa (Brooklyn), and recently secured a London residency at The Lower Third. Beyond nightlife, she is the official DJ for Ling Hussle, touring across Europe this spring alongside JID, and continues to work across fashion, brand activations, and international cultural events.
