Sean started DJing in the late 80s and through the 90s was a regular at some of the seminal raves and club nights of London, The Midlands and the East of England, often warming up for the likes of Paul 'Trouble' Anderson, Heller & Farley, CJ Mackintosh and Smokin Jo. During the late 90s, he stumbled across the Midlands free party scene, attending parties hosted by the legendary sound systems Smokescreen & DiY. In 2001, he formed DIZZYFUNK — a collective of like-minded DJs and party people, well known for their outdoor free parties and club nights, with Sean playing alongside guests including Inland Knights, Digs & Woosh, The Littlemen and Simon DK.
