Born and raised in Tehran, Salar comes with a background of Modern Iranian Culture, where dancing and music are first a very common form of escapism, a part of everyday lives and an last but not least ancient tradition. Fascinated and engaged with technology from a young age, a trained engineer, exposed to the world of electronic instruments in a traditional form Salar has always been the studio cat, a deep lover at heart for the sound and a seeker of the truth. All this has led to a life in Detroit, living, experimenting, learning, documenting and growing.
