Teuchters Landed

London-based duo Teuchters Landed channel the spirit of Scotland's dance music heritage through the lens of London's contemporary underground. Formed around a shared love of adventurous, genre-fluid DJing, their sets move between electro, progressive house, acid, breaks and rave, drawing as much from deep club music as they do from leftfield oddities. Inspired by the open-minded ethos of Optimo, the pair developed their sound through back-to-back performances at Suzanne's Out of Towners parties, part of a new wave of grassroots events helping to reshape London's underground club landscape. Their productions reflect the same approach—club-focused but emotionally resonant, balancing driving rhythms with melodic detail and unexpected turns. Their debut release arrived on Hammer's Remmah Records, introducing a sound that sits comfortably between peak-time intensity and psychedelic introspection. Featuring vocals from Whyn Stuart, the record captures the energy that has become central to the duo's DJ sets while remaining rooted in a broader musical identity. Dedicated to the memory of JD Twitch, the release reflects the influence of a lifelong musical philosophy that continues to shape Teuchters Landed's approach both behind the decks and in the studio.
