ROMO (2)

Romo is a selector based in Mallorca, Spain, with an approach to sound rooted in the balance between intuition and narrative. He understands the DJ booth as a space for dialogue, where the club functions as a living organism and every decision responds to the moment, the sound system, and the collective energy. His sets unfold in a hypnotic and sustained way, carrying a strong emotional charge with carefully crafted contrasts throughout the session. Romo aims for the body to move without thinking, while the music opens unexpected spaces of introspection, tension, release, and hope. Precise and restrained in the booth, he conceives each set as an honest experience, where connecting the audience with the music is the true challenge. Whether in a club context or more intimate environments, his selection prioritizes fluency, sensitivity, and respect for sound, allowing the music to speak when given the space it deserves.
