Biografía
With over 26 years behind the decks, Remy Baldo began his journey in the late 1990s, when vinyl records were still at the heart of underground electronic culture. Throughout the evolution of house and techno, he has remained true to a musical identity rooted in authenticity, emotion and timeless groove rather than passing trends.
In the early 2000s, he established himself as a producer under the alias The Cloners, releasing music on several respected labels. While his focus gradually shifted towards building musical experiences and developing Apéro Deep, production has always remained part of his artistic identity. Today, he continues to create original music, often choosing to keep his latest productions unreleased and exclusively featured in his DJ sets. This approach allows him to preserve complete artistic freedom while offering audiences a unique musical experience beyond today’s fast-moving release cycle.
As the founder and artistic director of Apéro Deep, Remy has spent more than twelve years developing one of the French Riviera’s most distinctive electronic music concepts. Going against the traditional image of Saint-Tropez nightlife, Apéro Deep puts music at the centre of the experience. Every event is designed as a carefully curated journey, driven by quality line-ups, a powerful sound system and a community brought together by a genuine passion for electronic music rather than social status.
Deeply involved in the AfrikaBurn community and inspired by the ethos of Burning Man, Remy draws influence from radical creativity, artistic freedom and immersive collective experiences. These values naturally shape both his events and his performances. Organic textures, ethnic rhythms and melodic atmospheres blend seamlessly with deep house, indie dance and melodic techno, creating a sound that is both emotional and dancefloor-driven.
His DJ sets are built as evolving stories. Beginning with warm, organic grooves, they gradually build intensity before reaching powerful peak-time moments where unreleased productions, carefully selected tracks and the crowd become part of the same journey. More than simply playing records, Remy Baldo creates experiences designed to connect people through music.
