Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Duncan grew up listening to more indie rock than dance music. One More Time played on the way to school was probably the earliest exposure. Boys Noise Power Album and LCD Soundsystem’s Sound of Silver made an impact in high school. It wasn’t until later in college when he heard Shiba San and other Dirty Bird artists that dance music began to make sense. While living in Berlin in 2018 he soaked up vinyl sounds he’d never seen in the US. This opened up another dimension of music and DJ appreciation. In the thaw of COVID he danced on rooftops with some friends in LA. He learned first how to mix on a lazy Sunday there, and later progressed at a small studio "Le Petite Box" in Brooklyn. He currently lives between LA, NYC, Oklahoma, and Lisbon and takes inspiration from a wealth of friends and shows experienced around the world.
