Born in the south of the Netherlands and raised in Belgium, Nicky Elisabeth is a 25-year old DJ and producer. Her love for music started with singing when she was sixteen and developed into a passion for DJ’ing by eighteen. Residing in Amsterdam, Nicky had the epicentre of electronic music at her doorstep and was fully immersed into the techno scene. It wasn't long before she began producing records and developed her own unique sound, best described as ‘melodic techno with a twist’. Nicky strives to bring people together through the power of music. Already left her mark on the Dutch scene, Nicky has a residency at Amsterdam’s club De Marktkantine where she also runs her concept “OPAL” and has played at leading festivals such as STRAF_WERK and La Rêve. In November 2018, Bumble, initiated the campaign 'Making Moves In Music'. With over 500 applications, Nicky made it to the finals and won the title; first MMM artist. As the winner of Vinylized's DJ/producer contest, it isn't the first time Nicky's taken out a title. As new part of the Kompakt artist family and releases in motion, it certainly won't be the last time Nicky stands out among many. She's just getting started.
