Meghan Lee is a South African - American DJ who has emerged onto the underground dance music scene in Orlando, Florida, bringing forward an eclectic and fresh sound that had yet to be heard locally. Teetering between classic dance favorites and newfound crate-diggers, Meghan takes on the role of “educating the dance floor” like a sixth sense, pushing the envelope just a little further each set. Affectionately named a “minimal queen" and self-proclaimed genre-bender, Meghan found her electronic roots in the Romanian Minimal scene. Today, her sound is described to have a minimal deep tech flair, pulling inspiration from notable artists such as Helena Hauff, Olga Korol, Danny Daze, Sonja Moonear, and Roza Terenzi - catchy, pulsating basslines, gritty electro breaks, and bubbling sounds and textures; a staple in Rominimal styles. In 2023, Meghan Lee launched her own project Lucky Rabbit Radio; a mix-based and event series creating a bridge between the punk socio-political values and underground dance music in Orlando, Florida with the goal of fostering a music appreciation and learning culture in the local electronic scene. The series has featured local hard hitters who have supported multiple stand-out names in the industry, and have shared their musical talent internationally.
