Growing up in a musical home, Maldo always experimented with sounds, instruments and equipment growing up which developed an insatiable hunger for self expression through music and sounds. Son of music teachers, Maldo has always found ways to develop a sophisticated and distinct taste in rhythm, melodies and symphonies. Keeping the vinyl collection inherited by divine intervention, Maldo grew it over time and found inspiration on the terrace of famous space night club and different events in Miami, Florida like Miami Music Week and Art Basel. Hearing the sounds and inspired by legends like Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Rhadoo, Raresh, tINi and her gang, Sonja Moonear and Soul Clap to name a few, Maldo sharpened his selection to truly define him as a DJ and represent him as a devoted fan to the underground sounds as well as a lover for the Funky bass-lines.
