Growing up in Tbilisi, Ly Sas started her musical path as a guitarist and songwriter for various bands, Subsequently, she started listening to electronic music records coming from Detroit and Berlin that were the main force behind her inspiration to start making and performing beats. She lived in Prague, due to her studies in film that led her to the new passion in sound design. Throughout the years she has shown that she is an artist with an unstoppable drive, work ethic and particular character. Her music draws upon groovy but pulls ambient and synth textures into its orbit too. Ly Sas has taken part in several VAs such as Brvtalist Sound Recording and has released 2 EPs, one of them is a collaboration with Ryogo Yamamori on 951Beat. Currently she spends lots of time in the studio, preparing for upcoming releases. She also plays an important part in ONYX line-ups together with Arnii and Fractions.
