Lil Sur (aka Juhi Gupta) has been DJing since 2018, where she got her start spinning on-air at WHPK, a radio station based out of the South Side of Chicago since 1968. After dabbling in music production in college at the University of Chicago, she moved back to San Francisco just in time for the COVID-19 crisis. During the pandemic, she threw renegades in San Francisco and the East Bay with fellow Oakland DJs Denaturant and pArt Deco. She now hosts a bi-monthly party called Shangri-La, featuring queer, POC, and femme DJs, at Milk Bar in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco, alongside DJ Trevs. She hosts a biweekly radio show on BFF.fm, as well as guest DJing for Fault Radio and Hyde.FM.
