Born and raised in Soshanguve, South Africa's national capital City of Tshwane, KMAT grew up in a music enthusiast home, leading her to find love behind the DJ decks. In 2020, she began her career in the music industry and has been evolving ever since. Her debut EP, "Luminous Flame", featuring Amapiano superstars, was released in 2022.
