Andi has developed an unusually vast and mature musical knowledge and appreciation for someone his age. This has evolved from an incredible amount of time spent researching, learning, and listening to music… and above all ENJOYING music! He counts his major influences as Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano and Raresh… His favorite styles range from deeper percussive minimal house to the raw sounds of Techno and Detroit Techno! Since discovering his love for the underground sounds of minimal/techno/house he has limited his performances to selective venues that concentrate on these brands of music. This demonstrates just how deep his respect, passion and love for the music truly is. Andi has performed alongside a number of World Class International DJ’s including BAREM(M_NUS/Foundsound), FEDERICO MOLINARI(Oslo Records), KONRAD BLACK(M_NUS/Wagon Repair), as well as Perc, Nick Warren, Wally Lopez, Jim Rivers, among numerous others. Together with his fellow Truth Nightclub residents he’s part of what is known as the most talented group of DJ’s South Africa has had to offer in a long time. He’s played at various events such as FUTURE ROBOTICS(Killer Robot/Fiction), Electric Circus(Truth), H20(Wild Waters Boksburg), Together@Truth, Fu-cha Gathering, DARKBEAT(Voodoo Lounge), Looney Tunez(Tokyo Sky), KISS(Groove Bar), Mintex(Malabar), The Natural Groove parties, and many others. And together with his fellow Truth Nightclub residents he’s part of what is known as the most talented group of DJ’s South Africa has had to offer in a long time. Besides his passion for music Andi is also an avid golfer, and spends most of his spare time on the golf course playing tournaments or perfecting his game.
