Innerworld is a reflection of Akshay Mathker’s exploration into the deeper realms of techno. This Goa based DJ and producer is inspired by the psychedelic and trance music culture that he grew up surrounded by. His love for a spellbinding groove comes from his experience playing traditional folk drums. Dark and mysterious, yet energetic and hypnotic, Innerworld crafts a landscape that invites the listeners to turn inwards, delve deep into realms within, guided by enchanting atmospheres layered with silky wisps of rhythm. His journey as a DJ started 12 years ago, and he’s been producing music for the past 5 years. Over the span of his career Akshay has shared stages with legends like Amotik, Ness, Claudio PRC, Gonno, and Haruka to name a few. Innerworld is driven by a clear-cut mission to bring sonic intricacy to the dance floor, as a gateway to the subconscious.
