Biografía

After producing on and off for over six years, Hjafri made his official label debut in January 2026 on Armada Music with a progressive rework of The Alan Parsons Project’s iconic track “Sirius.” The idea for the track was born in Chicago, where Hjafri attended a Chicago Bulls basketball game and experienced the legendary “Sirius” walk-on anthem live for the first time — an inspiring moment that sparked the creation of his own progressive interpretation. The release was later introduced to the world when it opened Eric Prydz’ set at ARC Music Festival in Chicago, marking a defining milestone in Hjafri’s early career. Since its release, the track has received strong support across the progressive and melodic house scene, with plays from Layton Giordani, Yotto, Korolova, and Armin van Buuren, co-founder of Armada Music. Musically, Hjafri draws inspiration from the Scandinavian house legacy. His early influences include Avicii and David Guetta, before evolving into a deeper, more progressive direction shaped by artists such as Eric Prydz, Jeremy Olander, Fahlberg, Layer J, and Joris Voorn. His sound is characterized by emotional tension, long builds, driving energy and immersive atmospheres, often leaning toward a spacious, space-inspired aesthetic. Alongside his official label release, Hjafri regularly shares edits and unreleased material on SoundCloud, while currently working on a significant amount of new original music. He has already performed at many of Stockholm’s key clubs and continues to refine his sound while preparing for upcoming releases
