FRANÇOIS G

Biografía

In 1986 Francois began to love DJ mixes through K7 tapes recorded and brought by friends from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He really loved DJ Marlboro, the creator of Brazilian Funk, who played Miami Bass and Freestyle at the time. Francois G started buying records, recording mixes on K7 tapes, playing small neighborhood parties, putting together megamixes on Reel to Reel Tape, and producing his first remixes. With a more refined technique and expanding musical knowledge, he debuted his first radio show on FM Cabugi in 1992. Which later became affiliated with the largest radio network in Brazil at that time, Network Transamérica FM. Francois G has played numerous nightclubs and FM radio stations in Brazil as well as Uruguay, Bolivia, Portugal, Spain and USA. He was artistic director of the Network ABR, 6 radio stations of the Langer Broadcasting Group and resident DJ at the Braza Union House Club. He is currently International Correspondent for the RC Cerimonial programs on TV Future which is an affiliate of Rede de TV Culture of Brazil, and Brazil Play FM in São Paulo. He has taught several courses in DJing and music production as well as radio workshops. As a Music Producer Francois G has produced and played with several Rock bands, Hip Hop artists and Brazilian Popular Music artists. In 2024 he produced and launched the musical projects “Natown In The Remix” and “SambaCumBlack” which are available for purchase on music platforms. He currently lives in Boston, is part of Eastcoast Underground, produces Hip Hop, R&B, House, Freestyle, Drum and Bass and is looking for people who are interested in booking a great House Music, Funk / Soul / Throwbacks or Drum and Bass DJ. Francois G prefers vinyl but can play on anything!
