DJ Scissher is a Manchester-based DJ known for her involvement in the queer nightlife scene.
She is also a co-founder of the "Hello Darling" night and identifies as a queer nightlife disruptor.
She co-founded "Hello Darling" with the aim of creating a safe and inclusive space for queer people to dance to house and nu-disco music. The night is described as a "queer house + nu disco affair" with a focus on "high-energy house, glitter-drenched nu disco, and unhinged queer joy" Resident Advisor.
She has been involved in LGBT activism for many years, including working with organizations like Manchester Village Angels, Act UP, Gay Liberation Front, and Brighton's LGBT switchboard Instagram.
