Navigating a Galore of Genres While Gifting The Grooves. No matter the genre, good times are always to be had on the dance floor. Growing up in East London, Navigate always had a love for music. Whether it was singing during his school years, alongside playing the violin & xylophone, or the eclectic collection of live gigs & festivals that was attended, Navigate never shied away from the love of music. His first gig in Manchester, after moving during the pandemic, was alongside SCAPA with a 2-hour set in the Soup Kitchen Basement. While building the DJ career, Navigate was also under the alias "Dave Token", a MPC based beatmaker & rapper, with noticeable highlights including playing at the infamous Hip Hop Chip Shop before it's closure & his remix to "It's Coming Home" achieving over 100,000 on streaming platforms. Over the past 6 years, this has now evolved to many stand out achievements such as weekly residencies around popular Manchester venues, playing an all vinyl set at Eastern Bloc for Record Store Day & opening for Obi Trice at Blue's Kitchen. Navigate is now diving deeper into his vinyl collection since the start of 2026, drawing from a nostalgic upbringing and the sounds he grew up with being a 90s kid. The journey is now forward-thinking, considering a selection of club-ready cuts and deeper selections, reflecting his wide-ranging taste and floor-focused approach, from upfront grooves to leftfield moments.
