Newcastle based record collector Diz brings all things with a touch of soul to his ever expansive DJ sets. When he’s not out hunting for records you can find him behind the counter at Gateshead’s only vinyl record store 586 records. From rare Disco to the depths of Detroit, Diz always has a soulful approach to his musical outlets. Growing up working at World Headquarters he was exposed to local vinyl Dj’s from a young age and soaked up as much uplifting grooves as he could, this truly shines through when you watch him DJ live. Diz is a staple in the North East scene and runs multiple parties in the North East. Waxinated is a platform for all vinyl b2b Djing based around the freedom to play whatever you feel thats at Ernest Ouseburn monthly and Up The Dancers is a club night based around the origins and off shoots of original House music, booking local legends and more obscure vinyl obsessives that's hosted at a venue called The Lubberfiend."
