Dimë

Playing for over a decade, Dimë is a DJ emerging from Strasbourg's local scene. He has been a resident of KALT since the club opened in 2018, where he has notably been able to cut his teeth playing long opening and closing sets alongside established artists such as Efdemin, Etapp Kyle, Steffi or Nd_Baumecker. Now Paris-based, he has been able to demonstrate his stamina and ability to tease and build tension with regular appearances at Club Carbone before acclaimed selectors like Roi Perez, Palms Trax or Gabrielle Kwarteng, and more recently performing all night long format. Versatile selector and tireless digger, his wide-ranging collection crosses styles and eras, connecting the dots between old and new. Not bound to any specific genre, his elegant and impeccable selection is deeply imbued by the productions of the 90s, while always remaining edgey incorporating more contemporary and sophisticated sounds. Tracks he plays are always deep, soulful and timeless. His mesmerizing sets are built around a foundational core of deep, progressive and dreamy House, fuelled by spacey - sometimes psychedelic - Techno and infused with Breaks and trancey shades. Smooth and precise in his way of mixing with long blends of tracks that slowly resonate to each other, he creates a intricate, captivating and transportive journey. From euphoria to nostalgia, either high energy and intensity, or mellow and floating, his diverse sets offer a palette of colors and a range of emotions as wide as human nature can know. Eager to offer an immersive, introspective and uplifting experience, he conceives his role as a DJ as the one who creates the soundtrack of a moment, an atmosphere, and a venue, and his sensitivity to his environment - from the crowd to the lights and architecture - leads him thus to deliver something different and original from one place to another.
