d4ia

Starting out as a rap producer, d4ia developed an early curiosity for sounds beyond genre boundaries. His journey into DJing began in Paris, through the local UK garage scene, before moving to Berlin. His musical universe stretches from UK garage, bass and jungle to baile funk, electro, house, hardgroove and beyond, often weaving in elements of hip-hop and trap along the way. Rather than following a fixed formula, he approaches each set as an opportunity to experiment, build tension and create unexpected connections between sounds. At the heart of his approach is a balance between emotion and energy. Soulful melodies meet heavier rhythms, playful transitions lead to unexpected turns, and contrasting influences come together to tell a story that still hits hard on the dancefloor. That same curiosity carries into his productions, where his hip-hop roots blend with a particular love for UK garage, French house and the wider spectrum of electronic music. Above all, d4ia sees music as a space to experiment, connect and have fun.
