Her musical journey began at the age of three, when she started playing classical piano. Ever since, she has been deeply immersed in the world of music. Devon’s DJ style seamlessly integrates elements from a diverse array of genres, including house, disco, techno, electro, new wave, synth pop, and the psychedelic sounds of post-war United States, all infused with her unique touch. Her rhythms carry an exhilarating energy tinged with a hint of psychedelia. While guiding audience into an emotionally immersive world, she consistently surprises them with her free-spirited approach. Parallel to her musical pursuits, Devon actively engages in Japan's dance music scene as an organizer and producer. She spearheads the party named 'TORUS' at two locations, Tokyo and Hakuba, with a central theme focused on 'Dance Music in the Land of Japan’. 'TORUS’ is dedicated to exploring the innovative interpretations of dance music that emerge from Japanese aesthetics and sensibilities through music and artistic experiences. ------------------------------------------------------ 東京を拠点に活動するDJ兼トラックメイカー。３歳から１８年間クラシックピアノに打ち込み、単身アメリカへ渡った高校時代は、電子音楽のサンプリングやピアノ曲の作曲などに熱中し、音楽に人生の大部分を捧げてきた。 彼女のDJスタイルは、ジャズ、ヒップホップ、ハウス、ディスコ、テクノ、ロック、ファンクなど、多岐にわたるジャンルの要素を巧みに取り入れ、サイケデリックな雰囲気を漂わせる疾走感溢れるリズムを創り出す。音楽を通じて、オーディエンスをエモーショナルで陶酔感に満ちた世界へと導く一方で、自由度の高い表現力でオーディエンスの想像以上のものを描いていくことに定評がある。現在、渋谷Red Barにて第3水曜日のレギュラーを担当する。 アーティスト活動と同時に、オーガナイザーとしても活躍し、東京と白馬の２拠点で「TORUS」を主宰。「日本の地におけるダンスミュージック」をテーマに掲げ、日本の和の世界観や感性から生まれるダンスミュージックの独創的な解釈を追求し、その世界観をオーディエンスへと提供する。
