DB Cooper's roots in New York City's skate and graffiti scenes exposed him to underground music from a young age. Starting his journey in music with beat-making in the late 2000s, when DB moved to Florida, he was drawn to the sounds of Miami Bass, Florida Breaks, and Electro. Reflecting his love for iconic dance music sounds that take root in your head and nest in your heart, his productions range from Florida Breaks tracks to classic Miami Bass on labels like Illeven Eleven (US), FTP (US/DE), Wile Out (BR), and more. DB's tracks and remixes have received global support from a range of artists, including rave legends like DJ Icey (US), global acts like Lady Waks (Russia) & Yo Speed (ES), and contemporary electro artists like Amadeezy (US), Jubilee (US), and Anna Morgan (US). As a DJ, he has played for diverse crowds across the US and always finds a way to connect the audience together. He carried the legacy of Florida rave music forward as a resident on ZenTrips Radio (WMNF 88.5 FM), the longest-running underground electronic music radio show. DB has also held a residency as a DJ for an institution in the south Florida breaks scene, BreaksYo!, since 2017.
