Jolene Sound Room is a one-of-a-kind sound space in the basement of the iconic Art Deco building, Julia & Henry’s, located on Flagler & 2nd Street in Downtown Miami. The space is believed to be Al Capone’s liquor stock tunnel. It is said that he used this space to smuggle alcohol across the street to an illegal gambling parlor. Jolene is a collaboration between Bar Lab Hospitality partners Gabe Orta & Elad Zvi and the three principles behind Club Space, III Points and Link Miami Rebels, Davide Danese, Coloma Kaboomsky and David Sinopoli. Jolene is an intimate room that includes textures and colors that are inspired by the midcentury recording studios & 70’s leisure lifestyle. The interior was design by Danya Hachey - Bar Lab Creative/Mad Artistic and sound designed by Phonic Technologies, the award winning sound team that was behind Jolene Sound Room Brooklyn, Output and Cielo. Jolene Sound Room features a unique, specially curated menu of craft cocktails courtesy of the award-winning Bar Lab team and beverage director, Christine Wiseman. Alongside the inventive cocktail program, guests can choose from an assortment of spirits and bottle service. The retro-themed high energy room celebrates local music culture and draws top talent from the global dance music circuit. Miami Native, DJ Ray will be spearheading programming with the partners at Jolene Miami.
