Born in Santiago, Chile and raised in the DMV, Cybersyn is a DC-based DJ whose sets move across un universo of Latin sounds—from indie pop and dembow to neoperreo, club y más. He is a co-founder and resident DJ of Maricoteca, a queer latine dance party in DC centering alternative, indie, and underground sounds from Latin America and beyond. His approach to DJing and nightlife is shaped by years in community organizing and a belief in dance floors as spaces for community, joy, and collective liberation.
