Transforming mundane discotheques into pockets of queer paradise with a heady concoction of leftfield micro-house, tropical italo-tech and psychedelic balearia, Cooper Cooper is a DJ, producer and visual artist from the wonky west of Australia, based on Whadjuk Noongar country and living in Boorloo/Perth. They manifest the incorporeal nature of music to construct slinky dance floors, using music as a tool to re-sculpt both human energy and physical environments. Trans-femme exuberance percolates during their performances, with lush atmospheres colliding with primordial percussion and flagitious, trippy grooves—arcane melodies mingling with and morphing human desires.
