Her sound is genre-blending and her taste wide-ranging: she starts from her Dominican roots, and traverses all over from there. Expect bouyon, jungle footwork, rap, afro-diasporic club sounds, R&B and everything in between. The result is a sound that is tough, sexy and totally singular - with a surprise around every corner. She has played an array of international and local festivals, including PXSSY PALACE (UK), Pitch Arts & Music (Naarm), Soft Centre (Eora), Dayshift (Eora) and Rave Relief (Boorloo). Aquenta is also the founder of CRIP RAVE THEORY, a project that draws on crip/disabled knowledge to expand sound and club culture
