Controlled Voltage

I'm Controlled Voltage, or, in my real name Andu, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Bucharest. I'm really passionate about techno, I've been listening since I was 18, but I'm especially passionate about hypnotic techno and the whole underground scene that has formed around it. I started doing modular live for almost a year and this is the story: It all started last year in July, when I decided to go to Berlin. I was in Düsseldorf on vacation and one Friday, I spontaneously decided to rent a car and go to Berlin for a few days. I arrived in the evening, around 12 o'clock, checked in and went straight to the RSO club. From 5 to 6, the artist who opened my way to the world of modular had a live set for an hour. I had never heard such a sound before and it seemed incredible to me that everything was done live. After I returned to Bucharest I started studying a lot about modular, so I could understand how modules work and their role. After many sleepless nights I felt ready and I made the setup that I still use today. Fun fact: at first I wanted to make hard techno and industrial on modular, but I quickly returned to my favorite style, which is hypnotic techno.
