She is also a co-creator of Intertronika, a collective which brings together Flinta artists from across the world to share knowledge, exchange ideas and create innovative projects. Through Intertronika, Caipora has been able to bring attention to dance music and its importance within society. Caipora’s name comes from an iconic character in Brazilian folklore - a female forest spirit that lives deep in the woods. She is believed to protect animals, plants, and trees from harm. In many ways, her mission as a DJ reflects this spirit of protection - she works hard to ensure that her sets provide her audiences with an escape from reality.
