Benny Yasoto

Benny Yasoto is a veteran Malaga-born DJ with over two decades of dedication to the electronic music scene. Emerging as a prodigy at just 13 years old with his first residency at Squirrel Club in Estepona, he quickly carved out a distinctive sound blending electro and experimental techno. A key member of the Elevation collective in his early years, Yasoto has evolved into one of the most respected figures in Andalusian techno. In 2000, he took a major step forward with a residency at Rubí Club, leaning into minimalist influences while staying true to his foundations. This period saw him join the Toys collective, strengthening his footprint along the Malaga coast. By 2003, backed by Toys and the pioneering net-label Miga-label, he solidified his position in the circuit. Since 2017, he has been a resident at Orion Pro, one of Málaga’s techno strongholds, while performing extensively across Spain and internationally. A true pillar of the Malaga techno scene, Yasoto has shared the booth with legends such as The Advent, Óscar Mulero, Ben Sims, and Ken Ishii, earning recognition both locally and nationally for his technical precision and deep, hypnotic grooves.
