Valuing music quality over popularity, Bane has always had an affinity for independent music. He first experienced underground dance music at a Brooklyn warehouse party and quickly fell in love with the authenticity of the scene. He quickly sought to play his own part and taught himself how to DJ. Over time, Bane has curated his own upbeat and emotionally charged sound by melding powerful, lush melodies with insistent, groovy bass lines.He has become known for featuring the newest underground tracks in his recurring “Banecast” mix series on his Soundcloud. Having performed at well-known venues such as TBA Brooklyn, 101 Brooklyn and 1 Oak, Bane is making an impact on the NYC underground scene.
