Life resonates at the Marni: artistic life, community life, the life of the audiences who attend the shows, concerts, vernissages and festivals that form the core of our activity, but not only. Events, training courses and residencies also bring this place of convergence to life. This openness is one of the founding values that continues to guide the programming and the artistic and social connections, both faithful and renewed. It's all these events together that have formed the ever-changing breeding ground of our interdisciplinary space over the past 25 years. ‘We offer an abundance of programming, open to all the performing arts: contemporary theatre, dance and circus, jazz and the visual arts. We also offer something for young audiences. Anchored and active locally, and thanks to a solid network of partnerships, the Marni is a venue on a human scale, at the service of artists and audiences alike. We offer a dynamic cultural activity that promotes artistic freedom. Our aim is to bring together the arts, cultural professionals and audiences in all their diversity. Accessible, open to the world and to multiple viewpoints, Marni encourages exchanges and calls on people's intelligence for collective and lasting reflection. Mediation plays an increasingly central role, with numerous events and activities for school groups, associations, homework schools and nursing homes taking place every week. Sustainability is also an integral part of our day-to-day work, through our follow-up with Event Change.
